FULL DESCRIPTION
This high volume, low pressure (HVLP) paint sprayer allows for all popular coatings to be sprayed including stains, lacquers, varnishes, enamels, primers, acrylics and creosote, although some may need to be thinned before use. Powered by a 700W motor, a high volume of fluid is sprayed at a low pressure, causing up to 90% less overspray compared to a conventional spray system. The low pressure allows you to lay the paint on rather than blasting it on for a softer, easier application of the spray, meaning much more of the finish ends up on the desired surface. As less fluid is consumed, material costs are reduced and there is less impact on your workshop, garage or garden surroundings.

To check your coating is suitable prior to spraying, you simply pour 100ml of your coating into the supplied viscosity cup and time in seconds how long it takes to flow through. The instruction guide shows how long (known as DIN-s) each type of coating should take to flow through the cup, i.e. varnish 15 to 40 seconds. If within range you are good to spray, if not then you need to thin accordingly.

Comfortable to use for long periods this electric paint spray gun has a soft grip handle and an adjustable nozzle for vertical, horizontal and circular spray patterns. The telescopic trolley handle and wheels ensure excellent mobility and the body features a spray gun holder with a sizeable cavity to store the 3 metres of air hose. Operating at a flow rate of 1000ml per minute under a maximum spray pressure 0.3 of a bar this HVLP sprayer will allow the novice paint sprayer to achieve excellent results after a few practice sprays. Supplied with 2 metres of 230V power cable and plug, viscosity measuring cup, a cleaning needle and a 700ml spray gun with a 2.5mm nozzle. An excellent choice for woodworking projects, car restoration and general home and garden painting. ©

HVLP PAINT SPRAYER

HVLP PAINT SPRAYER
Only used the once so far using F+B paint, I am a novice sprayer but for the money this seems a good product, as others have said would definitely play with it before taking it to the job but with a bit of trial and error found it gave a very good finish

Have read about this type of sprayer before

Have read about this type of sprayer before and purchased because i needed to paint a project which would waste a lot of material if sprayed under normal high pressure.I cannot believe how good this sprayer is, it covers really quickly with virtually no waste, it can be used anywhere you have access to a 240v supply and uses a lot less paint, works at all kinds of odd angles and its easy to clean.Really good value for money excellent producy

Light and easy to set up. Motor a little noisy but no worse than a vacuum cleaner. Only used for spraying a fence so far. Sprays well and a good finish can be obtained with a little practice.

I recommend trying the gun out on an 8 x 4 sheet to understand the spray pattern choices, the distance that you need to be away from the subject and speed at which you need to move the gun. It took me 30 to 40 minutes to achieve a really fine finish and now I spray confidently on a weekly basis. Far better result than by using a brush - no hair lines - consistent finish - no blobs. Just make sure you clean the gun and nozzle down afterwards.

I had a large number of drawers to varnish and wanted a good smooth finish. I purchased this based on the two existing reviews of the system. I am very pleased with the results. You do have to practice if you're not experienced with spraying (I wasn't) to avoid runs. Getting the viscosity right is important and took some time so I mix plenty and store any excess. I've now used it with water-based varnish and eggshell and the results are really good. Tried it with Zinsser 123 and it was a fail, might be that the viscosity was too thin so I hand-applied this and then sprayed - good result again. For the price its an excellent system.
