Creating large curves can be a time consuming issue. A rough sketch on a large piece of scrap wood and plenty of fine tuning before the template is ready adds time, and sometimes money too, on to your work. This flexible curve will save you plenty of time and money. Featuring 14 independently adjustable, interlinked clamps, this 1700mm long flexible template can be fixed in any shape, curve or multiple curves to suit the required project. As it is capable of holding its own shape, there is no need for it to be pinned to the wood, eliminating the damage associated with rubber and plastic flexible curve templates.

Ideal for musical instrument making and cabinet work, this template is infinitely adjustable and can be fine tuned to achieve the perfect shape. Flexible router fence

Bought for a future project while on offer, so didn’t think I would use it for a while. Within a day it was put to work marking out a bay window. Obviously it was built to a uniform arc, so the adjustability of this fence came in really handy.

Feels of good quality, and holds shape well. Was only needed for a pencil line on this occasion, but the steel band produced a nice shape. Felt solid enough for guiding a router.

Excellent quality item

Very well made, good quality and a simple cleaver design and a lot safer to use for curved routing jobs that need bespoke curves.

I use this to copy curve shapes onto

I use this to copy curve shapes onto porcelain paving so they can be cut to a precise scribe before each individual slab is laid . For example to lay paving around a curved bay window brick work. Outstanding piece of kit that has so many uses .

I use this jig in two ways...

I use this jig in two ways. I use it to copy an existing pattern and I use it to create a new pattern. It is very well made and when you lock it off tightly there is no movement. If you don't fully tighten each knob it can go out of line if you haven't clamped it down. I have used it with my router on a couple of occasions having made sure that it was securely screwed down first. I then ran the router against the curve without power to check that there was no movement. It's one of those tools that is invaluable for some projects.
