This 102mm stretch dust hose extends from 1000mm when retracted to 6000mm when fully expanded and features a helical spring-steel wire that makes the hose extremely flexible, with a very small bending radius. Kink proof, the hose is made from a 0.7mm high-grade PVC, which is puncture, abrasion and chemical resistant. The smooth, low friction inner surface offers improved material flow and reduced turbulence to prevent dust build up and clogging when working with high dust out-put machines such as planer thicknessers, bench saws, router tables and woodturning lathes.

The hose is transparent to allow for any obstruction to be spotted instantly, is UV resistant and will remain flexible in the coldest of workshops down to -40°C. The inner diameter of the hose is 102mm for connecting to industry standard 100mm outside diameter dust hose fittings and machine ports. As well as for coupling machines to extractors, this stretch hose with its 6000mm extra-long length is commonly used to connect to a floor sweep or brush head for cleaning up the workshop floor, benches and machinery.

With a compressibility ratio of 7:1, this hose is both space saving, easy to store, and won't become a trip hazard in a busy workshop. ©

By far the best

This replaces a cheaper hose bought 18 months ago and which has suffered numerous small holes. This hose seems to be much more durable and it is transparent which shows it works well.

Rutlands delivered very quickly

Flexible as well as stretchy

You can use this with quite a tight radius but it is also very stretchy. Spec says 1m stretches to 6m and this is achievable but would be under some tension.
I have started with one length and have used it with my Rutlands wall mount fine filter dust collector and it works great with machines with a push fit connection up to around 4m away no issue. With a screw clamp it would likely do 6m easily enough.
But my plan now is to use solid ducting along the wall with 6 blast gates about 2m off ground level.
I will then add one more of these to my existing 2 , cut each in half and have six 0.5m sections each of which can expand to an easy 2m to connect to my thicknesser, table saw, band saw, router table, mitre saw and Rutlands dust nozzle. My machines are all on castors which allows me to move them away from the wall for long stock etc so that stretch will allow the movement but keep the hose tidy when pushed back against the wall. And for a 6m capable hose is not much more expensive than a standard non stretch hose.
