Tilting Angle Vice - 100mm

Bought in a sale to replace an ageing drill press vice. Fantastic piece of kit for the money. Very solid and likely to last many years.

Superb vice very sturdy and well made should be great to use with Piller drill but maybe not up to using on miller . But all in all a very good versatile tool. Well worth the money.

This is a substantial and well finished item, the tilting movement is very smooth with no trace of play. The angular scale is adequate for +/- half a degree setting, use of a level box or angle gauges enables greater accuracy, the 15 degree presets are accurate and in use the vice is very rigid. This vice is well made, reasonably priced and I recomend it.

Great addition to the workshop, solid and smooth, great for the drill press.

This is a cracking bit of kit making angular drilling a little bit easier, though still not without it's issues for the Unaware. The only design change I would recommend is that the pin be replaced by a dogged **** to allow locking at angles other than the "usual" 15, 22.5, 30 & 45 degrees. Compound angles on construction assemblies quickly depart from all "norms". I may well modify mine to permit that
