This brushless random orbital sander and dust extractor with auto start delivers dust-free sanding, capturing the finest, most harmful dust particles down to 0.3 micron. The quiet, efficient dust extractor synchronises with the sander, automatically activating as you work. The dust extractor will run for a further 5 seconds after the sander is switched off, clearing any dust left in the hose. The sander features a rear body dust port which operates on a 360° swivel fitting, allowing free movement of the sander without kinking of the dust hose. The sander's centralised extraction system, combined with the supplied net abrasive discs, allows dust-free sanding, further reducing sanding time whilst ensuring the highest quality of finish.
Brushless Random Orbit Sander - 125/150mm, 5.0mm Orbit
The brushless random orbital sander delivers maximum operator comfort, low vibration values (3.07 m/s²) and low noise (80 dB LpA). Ergonomically designed, the lightweight, low profile body allows the tool to be used for long periods without fatigue. Supplied with both 150mm and 125mm backing pads, this random orbital sander runs in a 5.0mm orbit, providing a high material removal rate whilst yielding consistent surface finishes in a range of applications.
The 350W high performance brushless motor maintains constant speed, even under heavy load, ensuring a consistent material removal rate and finish quality throughout. The motor operates between a 4,000 to 10,000rpm range, with the paddle lever allowing careful control of the speed between 4,000rpm and the current max rpm, set using the + and - buttons and LED indicators. Supplied with 150mm and 125mm backing pads, 4 metre removable power cable, 1.1 metre dust hose and backing pad removal key.
Dust Extractor with Auto Start
Extremely quiet in use at just 65dB, this dust extractor has four-fold dust filtration, comprising of a HEPA fleece filter bag, HEPA filter cartridge, HEPA filter basket and HEPA filter sponge, capturing dust particles down to 0.3 micron and ensuring that the air re-entering the atmosphere is clean. The 1200W motor delivers an enormous suction power of 260 mbar and features variable air-flow control, to adjust the suction to suit all floor surfaces. Supplied with a 2m highly flexible kink-proof hose, 2 x 500mm aluminium straight tubes, 300mm floor head, 100mm floor head, crevice tool, fleece filter bag and a stepped rubber adaptor to connect to the ports of power tools. The dust extractor is compact and lightweight and can be carried with one hand, including the hose and accessories, due to the onboard tool storage. ©

I have been waiting for one of these sanders to be in stock for a long time and I finally went for it. There is absolutely no comparison to any sander I have used before. It is quiet with low vibration and so far is doing a great job and operates very quietly. It is really great value for money compared to anything else like it on the market. Very quickly becoming one of my favourite tools.
Absolutely delighted with the sander, I watched a couple of comparison videos with M###a and Rutland stood up very well against it at a fraction of the price, this will be used every day in my workshop.

I'm a newbe in woodworking and have lots to learn not just about woodworking it's self, but also the tools and this tool the Rutlands Brushless Random Orbital Sander - 125/150mm, 5.0mm Orbit in particular, was really surprised at when compared to my existing Erbauer sanders the ease of use, the 2 different pad sizes, dust extraction 4m power cord and believe me that extra meter to meter and a half makes a difference, the on off in conjunction with the palm switch all adds to making this Brushless Random Orbital Sander - 125/150mm, 5.0mm Orbit easy to use.
The biggest impact for me was hand fatigue. I got no cramping and no
vibration tingling in my fingers I wasn't just pleasantly surprised but amazed as I was sceptical even after watching so e YouTube reviews.
Budget wise I had to save a few pennies over the last few months so I could purchase the Brushless Random Orbital Sander - 125/150mm, 5.0mm Orbit
And so glad i did. I know you get what you pay for and I don't hink the Erbauers are inferior (they have a place in the market) I just think this is a massive step up from what I was using Rutlands also offer a three year warranty which can only mean the have faith in their products, not many three year warranties out there from small UK based companies. So if you have the money i wouldn't hesitate to purchase one or even save for one it's a win win
Also forgot to mention that the power cord is HO5RN which by all accounts is decent flex on any power tool.
This sander is excellent value for the prize. Used it for a week and I look forward to using it on every job I do
