Door Stand

Holding a door in position whilst trying to route-out hinge recesses or mortice locks can be very difficult. A door stand makes the job simple, fast and effective. Made from a 3mm thick heavy gauge of hardened steel this stand will rigidly hold doors and frames up to 45kg, making it ideal when working on very heavy fire doors. The mouth of the stand accepts doors up to 50mm wide. The whole stand has been powder coated for protection and to ensure the stand will not mark the door. You simply position the door into the mouth of the stand, rotate the locking knob and a no mar swivel foot pushes the door against the wall of the mouth. Once locked off the door remains firmly in position.

The stand has a 600mm wide arm to prevent the door from tilting or rocking under load and a series of rubber pads protect the surface of the floor. Once you have completed the work required you can rotate the door to its upright position though 90 degrees whilst still in the stand. ©
