This dust hose magnetic coupling kit allows quick, tool free switching of 63mm dust hose from one magnetic 63mm machine coupling to another. This kit contains 1 magnetic hose connector and 3 magnetic machine couplings, providing a convenient way of moving your dust collectors’ hose from machine to machine in seconds.
The hose connector features 8 rare earth magnets set flush into the outside face. Once pressed against the steel ring of one of the magnetic machine couplings, they snap together securely, forming an airtight seal strong enough to withstand the weight of the connected dust hose.
Each fitting provides substantial depth for a tight, non-slip fit with either a rubber cuff connector or 63mm dust hose, secured in place using the 4 supplied jubilee hose clamps. Constructed from a strong, impact resistant ABS plastic, each fitting features a smooth internal bore ensuring optimum air flow is maintained to allow the smooth passage of dust. ©

Does what is says on the tin- makes changing machines very quick and very easy.
Use these in our small workshop to allow a quick change between hand sanding and planing timber they work great and make things much simpler - a great product!
With the purchase of a third machine I need to be able to quickly change from one machine to another. Before this I would avoid swapping the extraction hose and spend more time cleaning up as it was slow and time consuming to swap them over. Not any more, it’sas simple as pulling it off one machine and connecting it to another in a matter of seconds. The magnets are more than strong enough for the job and make a good connection. If I needed more connections I would not hesitate to buy more of them.
A really good idea and incidentally, one I had not seen before. Allows easy swapping over of dust extraction hoses when you have just one extractor and multiple sanding machines. Nice!
Having a small workshop, I have to be able to move tools such as router and table saw around to make space. The magnetic couplings in this kit make it quick and easy to move a single dust hose between tools. The kit is well made, and the magnets hold the hose firmly in place, and yet are easy to remove when required.
