These magnetic dust hose machine couplings connect to the dust ports of workshop machinery, and allow for the quick, tool free connection of dust hose equipped with a magnetic hose connector. For workshops without a dedicated dust collection system, these connectors provide a convenient way of moving your dust collectors' hose from machine to machine in seconds.
Constructed from a strong, impact resistant ABS plastic, each machine coupling features a steel ring set into the outside face. Once pressed against the rare earth magnets of a mating hose connector, they snap together securely, forming an airtight seal strong enough to withstand the weight of the connected dust hose.
Measuring 126mm in overall length, each coupling provides substantial depth and surface contact with either a flexible cuff connector or small length of 63mm dust hose, secured in place using the supplied jubilee hose clamp. The smooth internal bore ensures optimum air flow is maintained to allow the smooth passage of dust. ©

Yep, this is the best 'starter kit' for these type of hoses, the tolerances are good and the level of magnetism is just right. My only problem is I keep thinking of ways to exploy my 2nd little mobile extractor to tools with twin ports to really amp up the extraction, works a treat, but you end up with lots of tools with these little magnetic trumpets attached! Once you get past the cost you can just enjoy the convenience and better cuts, I love 'em.
I ordered this at the same time as the 100mm Kit. I had thought about it for some time and thought that I was being a little over the top in getting this as the present system worked, it just meant I had to uncouple the 100mm pipe from an existing machine and connect it via an adaptor to the 63mm pipe to the Drill Table. No big hassle really. At least not until I got this and made things so much easier. Just pull off the 100mm adapter and snap fit the 63mm adapter. Easy. So glad I got these and now looking to get more for the other machines.
They are what I was looking for. So I do not have a tangle of Extraction hose all over the workshop. Instead I will have one hose that can be utilised on a number of machines as and when I use them. Good product, well made and very useful.
