FULL DESCRIPTION
This fitting allows you to quickly connect a 102mm hose to the larger 100mm dust ports common on power tools such as planers and table saws. One end accepts industry standard 102mm OD hose and the opposite end has a 100mm rubber cuff and a steel hose clamp that can be securely attached to the 100mm dust collection port of the power tool. The rubber cuff can easily be loosened and switched between machines when using just one dust hose.

This hose fitting is made from a thermoplastic polymer, which is impact resistant, has structural strength and stiffness and will not flex or distort under pressure. It has excellent low temperature properties and will perform in extremely cold workshops down to -40°C. As all of our fittings are made to exacting and tight tolerances to prevent air loss, a top tip is to use a washing up liquid as a lubricant when initially installing. ©

Plumbed in.

A while back I bought myself a massive lathe extraction hood, and a flexi pipe to run into the dust extractor. I was propably drunk when I ordered them, and was gutted when neither connected together. For the last 6 months I've kicked or fallen over the massive good on the workshop floor and until recently was using it to store offices and old rags and general workshop detritus. After eating a steakbake and a sausage roll, recently I remeasured my pipes and realised this adaptor right here was the mothafunker I was missing, my literal missing link. Plumped it in after finding 4 different ways to do it wrong, and I now have some serious extraction at the lathe when I'm creating ribbons of sawdust or microfine sanding dust.

I bought this is to connect Rutlands' 63mm Stretch Hose to their Wall-Mount Fine Dust Collector. It does the job. It makes a good seal and is easy to remove in the event of a blockage.

I only have a small workshop and therefore only one extractor and hose, this adaptor is great when I want to quickly switch the hose between machines that have a 100mm port. Simply loosen and remove the rubber cuff from one port and secure it to the other port.
