The Rutlands® workpiece support platform for the table saw crosscut sled provides additional support on the offcut side of the blade, reducing the risk of offcuts dropping away from the sled into the blade. Constructed from the same low-friction phenolic laminate composite as the crosscut sled, it provides a smooth, stable platform and locks securely once positioned.
Sitting level with the crosscut sled, the platform supports longer workpieces beyond the edge of the sled, helping to maintain a level cutting surface throughout the cut. The aluminium slider bar is mounted by the user to suit the particular table saw, allowing the platform to be positioned right up to the blade to maximise support. ©
