The Rutlands® Plunge Saw with 1.4m Guide Rail and M Class Dust Extractor - 40 Litre delivers precise, clean cutting of composite sheet materials and laminates with effective dust extraction. Powered by a 1200W high-torque motor, the saw features a -1° to 47° bevel cutting range, anti-tip lock and three-position blade mode dial for accurate cutting and reduced tear-out. The supplied 1.4m guide rail features an integrated splinter guard for clean, precise cuts, whilst the M class dust extractor provides high suction power, automatic filter cleaning every 20 seconds and auto start functionality. An audible and visual alarm warns when suction drops below a safe level, whilst variable airflow control and a generous 40 litre capacity support extended working sessions with less downtime.

Plunge Saw with 1.4m Guide Rail
The Rutlands® corded plunge saw comes with a 1.4m guide rail and features a high torque, 1200W motor that maintains consistent speed and power under load. The saw features a bevel cutting range of -1° to 47° for under/overcutting, and the anti-tip lock within the baseplate locks the saw onto the guide rail, preventing the saw from lifting or tipping over. A 2-position depth stop shows the current depth of cut both with and without a guide rail. The maximum depth of cut with a guide rail is 54mm at 90° and 38mm at 45°.

A three position blade mode dial allows quick switching between scoring cuts, free plunging and blade change modes. The scoring cut setting locks the depth of cut to 2.5mm, providing a shallow, preliminary pass on melamine or veneer faced boards to minimise chipping and tear-out. The free plunge mode is selected for normal operation, whilst the blade change mode locks the blade height in position to perform quick and easy blade changes using the onboard hex key. The supplied ultra-thin, 1.6mm kerf blade is specially designed to remove less material whilst cutting, reducing the load on the motor whilst allowing you to work faster. 

The 1.4m single piece guide rail features two full length rubber strips on the underside, protecting the workpiece from damage whilst increasing friction to prevent movement. A sacrificial rubber strip on the edge of the rail acts as a splinter guard, applying downward pressure onto the material to minimise tear-out. Once trimmed to the blade kerf on first use, the splinter guard indicates the exact cutting edge, allowing the guide rail to be positioned precisely at the scribe mark. The guide rail is compatible with other leading brands. Included is a 165mm, 48T thin kerf TCT blade, 1.4m guide rail, blade change key and dust port adaptor. ©

M Class Dust Extractor with Auto Start and Auto Filter Cleaning - 40 Litre
This M class dust extractor combines consistently high suction power, auto filter cleaning and auto start functionality, ensuring a safer, dust-free work environment. Health and safety compliant for on-site use, an audible and visual alarm will advise you when the suction rate has dropped to an unsafe level. A variable air-flow control knob adjusts the suction to suit all surfaces, up to a maximum air flow rate of 216 m³/hr.

With a sleek, ergonomic design, the extractor is easily manoeuvrable and offers ample on-board storage for hoses and attachments. A generous 40 litre drum capacity allows you to work for longer, reducing downtime emptying the machine. The soft grip trolley handle folds down when not in use, and the extractor can be locked in place using the brake-operated non-marring castors. A grounding chain beneath the unit prevents the accumulation of static charge inside the dust collector and hoses. Includes filter bag, HEPA filter, 3.5m flexible power tool hose and telescopic tube with floor brush, round brush and small crevice attachments. Suitable for wet or dry extraction.

The extractor should not be operated for more than 20 minutes continuously. After 20 minutes of continuous operation, turn off the unit and allow a 15 minute resting period before next use. Clean the body, filter and dust bag after use. ©
