FULL DESCRIPTION
This rafter square features a multipurpose, adjustable design that can be used as a marking out tool, saw guide, bevel or protractor. It has a two sided design, that enables you to accurately measure and mark angles when working on roof framing, stair construction, or any other project requiring precise angles.

It has common metric rafter angles marked onto both sides, which alongside the easy to read conversion chart allows you to easily find the pitch of a roof. Clear and easy-to-read metric graduations and angles, laser-etched onto the surface, provide maximum visibility and eliminate any guesswork. The square's compact size and lightweight design make it portable and convenient, fitting easily into your toolbox or inside your tool belt.

The square has been precision CNC machined from a single piece of cast, aircraft grade aluminium. This material is used for its stability and the fact that it will remain true once it has been machined, as it keeps to extremely tight tolerances. The square measures 195mm wide by 195mm high, with the hypotenuse of the triangle measuring 270mm. ©

As Ross previous review a great addition to

As Ross previous review a great addition to my workshop. I am actually using to build model houses with proper trusses and made a task very easy and accurate. But can be used in many ways. Usual high quality and feel plus the excellent delivery for 20 takes some beating. Well done Rutlands.

This is my favourite square now. Clear Metric

This is my favourite square now. Clear Metric markings only. Very heavy for an ally square, nice and thick, all good. Now, no disrespect to Rutlands, but rafters and stairs are probably the least use for this tool. It is your best, most easy to use square. It is a 45deg bevel, its a protractor, its a marking gauge. There's a series of notches at 5mm increments, so easy to mark parallel lines, scribe ,mark out etc. I use mine all the time with a cordless circular saw for squaring joists, cutting to length for framing. This tool has a dozen uses for a site joiner, and in the workshop. This square and a tape will replace all your other marking tools for all but the fanciest precision cabinet work. Get one, you won't be sorry.
