Router Sign Making Kit with Easy Jig

This router sign making kit with easy jig includes everything you need, except the router, to produce beautiful, professional quality signs. You can make horizontal, vertical and curved signs using either letters or numbers, or you can use a combination of both, with no limitation to the length or depth of the sign.

The kit comes with six templates, four with letters (A - Z) and two with numbers (1 - 9), a phenolic router base plate with self-centering tool, 13mm solid brass guide bush and an 8.5mm TCT router bit with 1/4" shank. The letters and numbers measure 57mm in height and are in the clean, modern Arial Rounded bold font which features rounded corners allowing the guide bush to move smoothly around the inner edges.

The easy jig simplifies the sign routing process even further, providing pinpoint alignment and a strong, secure hold on both the template and workpiece. Clamping templates to the workpiece in the traditional manner can be both time consuming and problematic, often obstructing the movement of the router. The easy jig eliminates the need for bulky clamps, allow you to route unobstructed, for faster and easier sign production.

The assembly of the jig is quickly adjusted to accommodate horizontal or vertical signs, with ergonomic, user-friendly star knobs locking the jig rigidly in place. The lateral position of the template can be easily adjusted through the use of two sliding arms, allowing you to fine tune the letter position prior to routing. Crisp, clear graduated scales are laser etched on all working faces of the jig, ensuring your sign is perfectly placed and parallel to the workpiece. ©
