This turning tool jig will help deliver a perfectly symmetrical grind on bowl, spindle and roughing gouges up to 36mm in width. Supplied in two parts, the design allows you to pivot your gouge horizontally and vertically to control and perfect both the side grind and nose angle. Once mounted onto the support arm, the jig can be locked in to position, meaning your grind can be repeated on multiple gouges to provide a consistent edge geometry. ©

Sharpening made easy

Bought this as a quick way to keep my bowl gouges sharp. Does exactly that. Makes woodturning a joy with very very high quality giving precise and deadly sharp gouges. I would recommend this sharpening system to anyone who uses gouges.

Takes a little work to get results

This is very useful as a learning wood turner who has little confidence in sharpening bowl gouges. Unlike the Tormek equivalent this is not a hinged jig but pivots on a point to get the rotation and angle of attack. Takes a little work but is effective.
