Absolute rubbish

This axe jig is not fit for purpose. Firstly, what I received was not what is pictured above. Secondly, the mounting holes don’t fit the **** whetstone grinder jig holder. Thirdly, you can’t fit the back of a regular axe head in the back of the jig.

The item I received is a cheaply made stamped piece of mild steel.

To add insult to injury, I ordered this with no option other than Rutlands £8 delivery fee and to return it will end up costing me more than I paid for the poorly made and designed jig.

I think I’ll put it in the fire.

Absolute rubbish

not only did this not fit the **** Whetstone Sharpener it was designed for (The holes are the wrong diameter for the guide), you cant fit a regular axe head in it.
Its literally got a single purpose and cant fulfil it.
It also look very different to the pictures on the website.
What was delivered was a single pieced of thin, badly stamped mild steel with no rubberised coating or bushing around the guide holes.
To add insult to injury, the postage for return will mean that its cost me more for delivery and return than I would get refunded. I think I'll throw it in the fire.
Rutlands do make some decent items - but this is cheap, mass produced garbage.
