This is the most precise and easy to use self centering dowel jig that we have used. Made from CNC machined aircraft-grade aluminium alloy you simply loosen the two brass knurl screws, position the jig on the workpiece and close the two arms around the workpiece. The jig is now positioned and the three steel guide bushes are centered along the workpiece ready for drilling. A graduated metric depth stop allows you to quickly transfer the jig to the matching face of the workpiece to drill out the corresponding dowel holes.

The kit is supplied with a total of 9 steel guide bushes, three each of 6mm, 8mm and 10mm. The 25mm deep guide bushes are precision machined from tool steel to prevent wear and play, guaranteeing a consistent and true drilling line. Each diameter of guide bush comes with its own, red in colour, locating pin.

The dowelling jig will accept workpiece thicknesses from 17mm to 50mm. Beautifully finished in black electro-coating, this is an exceptional easy to use, precise dowel jig that we highly recommend. ©

has a scale which does not relate to any other dimension. would be useful if it was related to the distance between stop and first dowel position. shims would allow use on thinner material.

I used this 10 minutes after it arrived to dowel a guide rail to my bench. Quality is excellent, and the price is very competitive. This really works well I'm extremely happy with it. Recommended

I am very impressed with this jig...

I am very impressed with this jig. Good build quality, accurate drilling and covers most dowelling needs. Good price for the quality as well. The only thing I have found to watch is keep and eye on the Allen bolts on the jig itself as can come loose which will affect the centering but no big deal. Would be great if you could get some additional guide sizes as well, 5mm and 6.5mm come to mind.

This thing does feel very 'premium', much better than plastic ones Ive used in the past, self centering feature works well & you can clamp the whole thing to the wood easily. Guides help when drilling to make sure you're going in straight, Ive got perfectly aligned holes every time so far
