This edge trimmer is designed to trim laminate edge banding on PVC, ABS, melamine and wood veneer, leaving a perfectly flat and square edge between the banding and workpiece. A lip locks the body squarely to the edge of the workpiece, gliding across the workpiece with almost zero friction.

Edge trimmers are designed to trim laminate edge banding to leave a perfectly flat and square edge between the banding and workpiece. This trimmer can be used on PVC, ABS, melamine and wood veneer. The trimmer blade has an adjustable depth which can be locked in place using a large, knurled brass knob, this will allow you to cut different depths of banding in each pass. The design of the body of the trimmer uses a lip to lock onto the edge of the workpiece which means it will always sit square to give a precise finish.

The trimmer has been precision CNC machined from solid aluminium with a black anodised finish and is far superior to the plastic bodied alternatives that are commonplace in workshops around the world. The trimmer can be used on any thickness of board due to its design and minimal effort is needed trim due to its sturdy construction and the ease with which the aluminium body slides over the workpiece due to almost zero friction. The trimmer is shaped to fit snugly in the hand and cuts on the push stroke. ©

Very easy to use.

I have been using a router for years to trim edging strip for laminate boards, this little tool makes edging a lot easier.
I had a job where I had to edge a 100 metres of board, I started off using a router cutter, but found that bye the time I got it set up it was quicker to run this edging tool along.
How ever when. I first saw the tool I thought it was good quality, nice weight to it, I set the blade so it would take a small amount of with each pass, I noticed that it was marking the board and scratching it,there where two small burrs on the surface of the tool, after filling the burrs off and playing with the fine blade setting it was very easy to use, trimming the edging flush with the boards surface without needing to go over it with a file afterwards.
