This wheel set is purposed designed for heavy duty use on workshop machinery and workbenches. The mounting brackets and lift mechanism are manufactured from 3mm thick hardened steel plate that will not buckle or bend under heavy load. Each mounting bracket has a series of six pressed holes, three at the top and three at the bottom. You use the two centre holes if the legs you are mounting on are less than 60mm wide or all four corner holes if the legs are greater than 60mm wide.

You simply mount the brackets on your workbench or machine legs at a height 40mm above the surface of the floor, by drilling the legs and using the supplied bolts. Once mounted you press down on the lift pedal with your foot until it locks firmly in place, lifting the workbench or machine off the floor. You can then freely manoeuvre the machine or bench around the workshop.

The 60mm diameter castors are made from a no-mar polymer and are extremely durable. Supplied as a set of 4 with fixing bolts they have a combined load capacity of 250kg. They are excellent for use with router tables, table saws and wooden workbenches allowing you to move equipment around the workshop to utilise the space to the maximum. Highly recommended. ©

Great product...

Great product. Really robust and just the job for table saw workbench. Easy to install (comes with template) and assemble. No issues taking the weight and glide really smoothly. Great price too, originally out of stock and I was tempted to buy elsewhere but so glad I waiting (after signing up for the stock alert) and got them the day after being told they were available and ordering. Great service as ever from Rutlands. Highly recommended, very pleased.

Excellent! Fitting template for screw holes works...

Excellent! Fitting template for screw holes works perfectly. I used all six screw holes on each castor, as enough screws are provided. Raising and lowering is smooth, although the latter can be helped by letting heavy items down gently if able. Given that there must be an assumption the castors will be used on four-cornered items, an adjustable bar to connect the castors at each end would be useful, to avoid the twisting that occurs if one corner at a time goes up (or down).

The castors are solid and even comes with a template for drilling holes at the correct place. I have my 10 inch planer thicknesses on these castors and its easy to move around. Will highly recommend these castors. The fixing screws are decent and I used an impact driver with a screw driver bit to drive them and it was easy to drive it in. One screw head was damaged and had to be replaced. Overall a great product and easy to use.

Absolutely brilliant, they lifted my 8x4 bench whilst it was full laden on top and on the base shelf and glided around the workshop with ease. Superb

My saw table had 4 Rey heavy duty casters fitted ...

My saw table had 4 Rey heavy duty casters fitted but these were not enough to hold the table steady. I have replaced the front two with the caster lift - stunning. The difference is almost unbelievable; operation is easy; fitting easy with the template. The casters even came with two spanners - one thin enough to fit inside the baseplate as the aeronut was screwed down - I used a socket. One very slight adjustment was needed; the thin spanner needed a very few strokes of a file to enable it to fit the spin bolt. Very, very pleased with this excellent kit.
