Vice

I'm yet to install the vice. On first impression the build quality seems very nice for the price point.

Never installed my own vice but after just setting this up on my workbench and fitting some nice pine faceplates I can tell you its pretty straightforward. One youtube video later and I've now even made a wooden handle to go with it. Really happy with it so far, jaws hold firm and the thread moves so smoothly.

Delighted with this purchase. I was looking for a solid and straightforward bench vice so I ordered this bench vice from Rutlands and received an exceptionally well constructed tool, very promptly. Easy to fit and a joy to use.

This is an excellent heavy duty vice. Very well made and engineered to give long and reliable service. Not difficult to fit but a paper template for drilling the wood front jaw or even a diagram showing the hole centres would make the job a lot easier. Highly recommended.
