FULL DESCRIPTION
This bench grinder turning tool sharpening set contains a V groove jig, fingernail grinding jig and a skew grinding jig. The V groove jig accepts turning tools up to 600mm in length and is designed to provide support at the base of your tool to ensure a highly precise grind. The fingernail grinding jig allows you to accurately set the grind angle of a desired fingernail grind on spindle or bowl gouges, which can be accurately and easily repeated in the future. The skew grinding jig sits securely onto the V groove jig and allows you to grind precision bevels on any skew chisel.

The main body of the set is secured to your workbench in-line and underneath the grinding wheel of the bench grinder. It has a smooth sliding action to correctly position the turning tool and a secure locking lever which locks the jig in position. The set is manufactured from thick steel pressings to reduce vibration during use. ©

Works brilliantly. Knocked off a star because there are no instructions - which is anoying because another firm marketing what appears to be exactly the same thing does some EXCELLENT instructions...Just google 'Wolverine Sharpening Jig Turning' and you'll find a buch of written and video support.

Good well made branded woodturners sharpening jig, looks

Good well made branded woodturners sharpening jig, looks the same as a Wolverine brand. Would have greatly helped if there were instructions on how to set it up as well as tips to get the correct angle. Still not sure on what position for the spindle gouge needs to be, perhaps Youtube will help!Overall an easy purchase and delivery prompt.

I ordered this specifically for the fingernail gri...

I ordered this specifically for the fingernail grinding attachment because it was so difficult to get a consistent grind by hand on my bench grinder. It works a treat! I now sharpen all of my turning tools using the different jigs, it makes life so much easier!
