Bench Dog Horizontal Clamp - 20mm

Fits the 20mm dog holes perfectly in my work bench. I use it mainly in conjunction with the dog in my face vice to clamp stock as thin as 16mm for planing, grooving, rebating and dadoing. Well worth the money.

This is a nifty bit of kit. I have a workmate which means that its easy to clamp front to back but on wide boards its been very difficult to clamp side to side. Not any more. With a couple of ordinary bench dogs and this horizontal clamp and a straight piece of scrap, its job done!

As usual, Rutlands provided a fast and reliable service. These bench dog claps are really good value for money. The are provided with a double ended spanner and one end is a ratchet ring spanner. I have. Shaper Origin with the work station. I made a new table top for the workstation, that has dog holes in it. It has made a huge difference to work holding, while using origin. I would highly recommend these dog clamps.

Really useful product to have around on my workbench, used it often since it was purchased. You can generate a decent amount of force without the risk of the brass jaw marking your work. Will buy another couple when I next place a Rutlands order.
