These sash clamp heads offer an economical alternative to full size sash or T bar clamps. They offer complete flexibility in terms of bar length and bar material. They are commonly used with wooden bars making them light in weight, yet very strong and easy to handle. Supplied complete with fixing bolts the heads are fitted to any length of bar which has a cross section of 25mm. They provide a maximum clamping force of 2000N and are perfect for clamping large objects such as kitchen cabinets, doors and window frames.

The cast iron heads measure 50mm x 42mm and are fractionally back tapered at 90 degrees to the bar to ensure maximum clamping force is exerted without slipping. The products feature a rolled acme thread for fast, smooth clamping and a steel tommy bar to easily transfer clamping force. Supplied in packs of 4. ©

Great clamps and excellent value

This is a great value set of heads to make 4 sash clamps. Much lighter to use than my 4 big pipe clamps and a lot cheaper than parallel clamps. Perfect for my needs.

I've been considering purchasing clamp heads for years, and finally took the plunge when I needed to build a new workbench.The quality of the heads is excellent and an hour or two preparing the timber paid dividends when assembling the bench.Highly recommended, thank you!

I originally bought these to make clamps for a coffee table top I was building. Then Rutlands had an offer on aluminium sash clamps so I bought those too. I used the sash clamps under the table and built 3 more clamps for the top side with these. They were easy to use and being steel they certainly were strong enough even with simple softwood battens.

I already had 3' and 4' clamps but have often been frustrated by them either being too long for shorter projects (having to work around the excess length of the bars) or too short for the occasional longer projects.Now I have bars for 2' 6' and 8' clamps with the metal parts neatly stowed away in a drawer and the timber bars neatly held under a shelf and simply assemble the length required.Needless to say the metal parts are all up the normal Rutlands high standard.
