Steel sash bar clamps are needed to clamp large scale projects where a considerable clamping force is required such as cabinets, doors, worktops and panels. These sash bar clamps are extremely powerful and enable the full clamping force of 19000N to be exerted onto your project without the bar bowing or twisting.

The clamping head and slide are made from grey cast iron and are guaranteed not to break during use. Being flat bottomed allows the clamp to stand, unsupported on the work bench to facilitate clamping of flat panels with ease. The jaws are slightly tapered inwards towards each other so when under clamping pressure they become parallel for positive non slip clamping.

The main bar of the sash clamp has a very thick cross section and is made of high quality cold drawn steel for maximum strength. The head and slide are epoxy powder coated for durability and have been precision machined so that they glide freely and easily along the main bar. The slide can be positioned anywhere on the bar using the predrilled locating holes and is held firmly in position using a solid steel pin. This sturdy steel pin will not bend or break even under maximum load. The head features an extremely hard-wearing steel rolled acme thread which enables smooth fast clamping. A steel tommy bar coupled with the fast action thread enables the maximum force to be exerted onto your work piece with ease.
