FULL DESCRIPTION
This electric nailer drives 18 gauge brads and staples, which have a high pull-out resistance, making them ideal for finishing work when fixing moulding, trim, beading and for general cabinet assembly.

The nailer has a slimline body, which is well balanced and offers excellent visibility of the nose for pin-point fastener positioning. The anti jam mechanism allows for uninterrupted nailing and you can adjust the driving power to suit softwood, hardwood and composite wood. In operation it has a low level of recoil with minimal kick back and features a safety mechanism to prevent accidental firing. The firing pin, which drives the nail, is specially hardened to absorb shock if a nail is accidently fired into a knot. A no-mar foot on the nose of the nailer protects the surface of the wood.

Powered by a 600 watt motor this nailer will consistently drive 18 gauge brad nails from 15mm to 32mm and 18 gauge staples from 15mm to 25mm. Both the 18 gauge brad nails and staples are 1mm in diameter, with the brads having a 1.25mm head and the staples a 5.7mm head width. The magazine holds 100 nails and features fast and simple side loading and is supplied with 100 x 25mm nails and 300 x 19mm staples. ©

**Please note unlike pneumatic nail guns downward pressure will need to be applied to the back of this nailer and stapler to ensure the fixings sit flush in your work piece**

Great Finishing / Brad Nailer

I’m 55, a self employed handyman of 11years and I’ve never had a nail gun. I’ve looked so many times in the past and never taken the plunge. Do I need 1st Fix, do I need 2nd Fix, do I need both. Should I go gas / battery / mains - so many choices. Well, here we go, I’d a client ask for MDF Panelling on several walls. I took the plunge and what a great choice. Never bought Rutlands before, will do now. Great solid, quality feel gun. Easy instructions. I bought two lengths of nail. Adjustment of power was easy - pretty close to maximum worked great. Very few needed punching in, filling was minimal. Highly recommended. Only issue - very short flex. I’m going to extend in to say 5m, but overall - brilliant.

Does the job!

My first Rutland purchase and couldn’t have been happier. Only done a small job with it so far and was very impressed with the power, did mark soft wood on impact but not tried on other surfaces/hard wood. Wasn’t clear (didn’t look that hard!) if it came with any nails/staples but it it had some staples in the box.

First nailer - easy to use

This is my first nailer of any kind. I'm making some shelving units out of 18mm plywood for my hall cupboard and thought some nails might be good to support the glue, so bought this nailer (Finish Nailer and Stapler - 18g) and some 32mm x 1.25mm 18G shank nails. Did a couple of test shots on scrap wood and seemed easy enough. I had the rotary knob turned up to max and gently leaned on with both hands. Nail easily went through 18mm (actually 17mm) thick ply and then edge on into another ply board (plus glue). Everything clamped up nicely and the nail head was half a mm below the surface of the board. Am very happy with this nailer, seems to do a good job easy-peasy :0)

Excellent value and usability

Ordered this with a view to fix some insect mesh in the eves of my man shed 6m x 4m using staples
Was going to use my dewalt cordless but it was 2 heavy and cumbersome.
I was so impressed with the result dispite it being corded
I never needed to use 2 hands the 23mm staples went in a treat.
Also impressed with the pin nailer.

Im used to working with air powered guns and this really compares well to those and for a fraction of the price. ill probably go for the battery powered 18g & 23g next time but still a great product, it will get used a lot.
